| What the test measures |
The SAQ assesses seventeen dimensions of stress covering possible sources, common symptoms, coping style, personality factors, and impact on mental health. For information about the reliability and validity of the test, click here... |
| Theory behind the test |
A literature review indicated that a comprehensive stress assessment needed to take account of potential stressors such as work, relationships, parental responsibilities; critical life incidents; common symptoms of stress; coping strategies; personality; and, the impact of stress on mental health. |
